​SPECIAL OLYMPICS BOWLING EVENT JUST AROUND THE CORNER
O Heroes will host the third-annual Special Olympics Bowling Event which is scheduled for Nov. 12 at Emerald Lanes. The event runs from 4-5:30 p.m. Around 90 Special Olympians will be joined by approximately 30-40 UO student-athletes from a wide variety of varsity sports programs.

​ADDITIONAL EVENTS ON THE FALL SCHEDULE
O Heroes has been approached to assist with several one-time events during the months of October and November. Student-athletes from many different sports programs are slated to attend and work as volunteers. Below is a listing of some upcoming events:

​• Thursday, Oct. 25: Holt Elementary School Q&A. Student-athletes answer questions from Holt Elementary School fourth graders.

​• Friday, Oct. 26: Muscles in Motion. Student-athletes host a yoga session and conduct a Q&A for grades K-5 from Camas Ridge Community School.

​• Friday, Nov. 9: Junction City’s Oakway Elementary touring UO’s facilities. Student-athletes volunteer as tour guides as Oakway Elementary visits the Casanova Center, Moshofsky Center and Autzen Stadium.
